February 13 ~ 17 2020

I got all my little siblings candy bracelets for Saint Valentine's Day.

All my little siblings enjoyed them.

The strings on the bracelets were in different sizes.
Tommy ended up getting one way to small.
Although he didn't care to wear it.
Just to eat it.

The 14th Samwise came and visited with me a little after I finished work.
Sadly I had a super sore throat so I just sipped tea.
He offered to get some custard since I had a really big lunch.
But I didn't want my throat to get worse.

Saturday we did another open house for our Civil Air Patrol squadron.
Here is the booth I was in charge of putting together.

Lucy is now a member.
I gave her my uniform to wear.

Last year I was in charge of the aerospace education booth.
I was very pleased to see the cadets in charge of it this year redid the tornadoes in a jar.
I like how they added a little sand to it so you can see the swirling better.

Sunday morning I was sweeping the floor
and saw the garbage can giving me an attitude.
I expect something like this from my siblings.
Not the garbage can!

We got a few veils hung up at Saint Jerome now.

Custard was waiting for us when we got home from Mass.

Before The Show

We went to the Wonders of physics on Sunday.
A few of my siblings went, both my parents, Samwise and two of his siblings.

Nate played with the plasma ball they had outside of the show room.

Pearl's hair didn't react much.

Marigold's hair reacted the most to the static.

It's hard to tell with Kili's short hair,
but he did have quit a bit sticking out.

They had a few jokes on one of their screens.
I found these two funny.

We sat near the front this year.
Quigley and Kili sat in the second row right in front of Samwise and I.
Everyone else were in the third.

Marigold sat to my right.

During the show Lucy and Kili were picked to go down and demonstrate
how molecules act at certain temperatures.

After the show they allow you to come and experience a few of the experiments up close.
Kili is racing the professor he had the regular ball where the professor had the magnetic one.

Odette wanted to try too.

 We made crepes for dinner.
Teri made the first batch of crepes.
I made batter for a second batch although Samwise ended up cooking them.

Gretchen and I worked this morning until 4.
Having driven in separate since we began at different times.
I drove through town avoiding the highway a little more.
Gretchen took the highway home and ended up hitting a rough spot.
I got home in time to have dad and a few kids, pile into my van with shovels.
We got her and the car unstuck

On our way.

Gretchen is completely fine.
Teri car on the other hand lost it's bumper.

Very beautiful.
But still very Dangerous!

February days 2020

Just too cute!

This artwork was pretty hard to draw.
I used a different style for my background.
I wanted to keep it simple.
It was tempting to go into great detail!

On my way to work one morning,
I had to just stop and admire my beautiful surroundings!

I love how trees glisten white with snow.
Plus not a cloud seemed to be in the sky.

That evening I snapped the sunset from our kitchen window.
The sun turned the landscape orange!
I'll have to try and paint this.

Teri brought home different types of cheese and a few crackers.
I definitely found the Camembert a little off.

A portrait of Samwise's sister Rosie.
I used a photo I took of her at the March for Life in DC last year.
I was a little surprised how it turned out.

Beginning of February 2020

This morning my mom and siblings were getting ready
to leave for a homeschooler group meeting.

Bes was trying to get into the bathroom
and was knocking in a cute little way.
Sadly I didn't catch the actual knocking.

Just like myself, Heidi is not a morning person.
She was very crabby this morning!

Hence her glowering at everyone.

Quigley normally is crabby in the morning.
This morning he was.
But I caught him trying to sneak on moms phone.

Beth, Beth, Beth.

Peark was in our room too.
Lucy was making faces at Beth since she was acting shy.
Because I was taking photos.

I told Lucy that I was going to share pictures of the mess Heidi and her clothes are.
Hence the face...

I was trying to take a picture of Beth laying on my bed propping her head in her arms.
Then she started acting shy.

Pearl demonstrating.

She goes from being the most out going little thing to the shiest!

We held our Civil Air Patrol meeting at the VFW on Monday.
This little table they had set up there holds a lot of importance.

“This table is reserved to honor our missing comrades in arms. The tablecloth is white — symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call of duty. The single red rose, displayed in a vase, reminds us of the life of each of the missing and their loved ones and friends of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers. The vase is tied with a yellow ribbon, a symbol of our continued determination to account for our missing. A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears endured by those missing and their families who seek answers. A slice of lemon on the plate reminds us of their bitter fate. The Bible represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from our country, founded as one nation under God. The glass is inverted — to symbolize their inability to share this evening’s toast. The chair is empty — they are missing.”

Birthday Girl

Heidi's birthday was during the last week of January so Sunday we celebrated.
Our older brother and his wife joined us.
As well as my mother's parents, our other grandparents are visiting Arizona.

She wanted a pink cake.
Vidialia used food coloring. The cake its self is pink too.

The kittens were playing very cute.

Sat down with Greta, and talked about hairstyles for the wedding.
She did dinner for Samwise and I.

My little siblings love playing with legos.
I remember when I was around a few of their ages,
a family gave us a tote of Polly Pockets.
My sisters and I played with those,
similar to how our younger siblings play with Legos.

My dad had me make him some whole wheat bread.

Cassy taking a test for CAP.

Play Dough!

This is how my mom has done our chore board for years.
She has on one side the chores that need done and on to the day of the week.
I'm no longer on the board but I do get asked to help out still around the house.
For a while after my mom had taken me off, she put me in charge of folding clothes.
Every week there was 30-40 loads piled up by the time I had a chance to sit down and fold!
In my opinion folding clothes is the worse chore.

She's settled in for the most part now.
She growls and barks whenever anyone walks in now.
She does not like some f my cousins.
They visited for the day and whenever one was in the room she growled none stop.

It gets annoying if she does it every time someone walks in while carrying wood in.

Doing her hair.
