Balloon, Nativity

This balloon I received last August as a gift for my graduation.

I am very impressed how it has been holding, most balloons disappear the day after.

My little sister that I share a room with asked the other day if we could start a small shrine like our family has in our blue room. I volunteered my good rosary and my saint cards and prayer cards.

We are both very happy with it.

My family's small nativity. We only have two kings now.

Our nativity scene we have at our parish a few years back my family repainted the figurines.

Their going to need repainting very soon.

And the kings finally made it to the manger.

Christmas Crafting

For Christmas this year I made a few items.

I finally learned how to properly crochet. I made this little hat for my little sister.

We all made little clay ornaments and painted them for our Godparents.

I crochet matching hats for one of my cousins and her new little one.

Didn't want to try and find a ribbon bow, so I just took one of my pom-poms and taped it on.

My dad even got into the crafting spirit! He created this Jacob's Ladder and a few more like it.

So another baby, another stocking needed, but this year I made sure I got a chance to make it.

Crochet took me a while to figure it out, many retakes. Almost didn't finish it in time! Had to go without the name embroidered on, maybe it'll be on there next year. !)

I used an old t-shirt for the liner and hand stitched it together and into the stocking. May it last many great and joy filled years!!

Sunset, Sunrise, Birthday, Christmas And Skating

Was on my way to a friends band concert the 14th of December and couldn't help trying to get a picture of the wonderful sunset. Sadly since I was driving had I asked a sister to take it I don't think she did a very good job.

December 16th was on my way to Watertown with a few sisters and a friend around 7:30 A.M. saw this beautiful sunrise.

 This time instead of asking the same sister to take a picture for me due to once again I was driving I asked my sister who seems to be a master photographer.

Birthday!!!! Treated one of my little brothers to some Culver's for his birthday we both got chocolate with cookie dough. :)

For those who wonder what does a Christmas tree look like for a family with 15 kids. This is what I woke up to find Christmas morning.

My siblings and I who all have a job decided to pitch in and get our mom and dad a brand new washer and dryer this year I think this was their best gift yet, at least saying we normally don't get them anything.

The 27th of December we went ice skating with our homeschooler group at the ice rink in Beaver Dam. It took me time to get my skate feet back! :)
